I have worked in various roles but have always been focussed on working within and IT based role, and more recently a swerve over into the marketing and online sector. I also have a keen interest in Web Development and more recently the opportunities that can arise from Social Media and Social Media Applications. On The Beach Holidays

Roles Held - In House SEO Manager / Social Media Manager / Online Reputation Manager
After a hectic few months out of work I finally got back to work at On The Beach Holidays. My primary role is to increase all of traffic and conversion to the non branded keywords through a full SEO campaign. My role will also involves me managaing 3rd party companies that also assist us in some of our marketing tasks. After settling in with my SEO role I began developing the companies Social Media profile bringing them to be the most fanned Online Travel Agent on Facebook. We also use Twitter but as yet this is a slow grower for our market.

Roles Held - Technical Account Manager, Organic Search Manager, SEO Account Manager
I started at Manchester based Global Media as a Trainee to Search Engine Optimisation and was entrusted with some large accounts from the off. This led me to up my knowledge in this field in a relatively short time. Global Media then merged with Bigmouthmedia on Valentines Day 2007, and the option came up for me to have a changing role under the new structure. I chose to become a Technical Search Manager allowing me to broaden my knowledge in the Technical aspects of SEO and to answer all technical issues our client may face. I also partake in a fair amount of research as a Technical Account Manager and because of my areas of interest this has led me to be the Facebook expert at bigmouthmedia. My employment finished here in November 2008 due to redundancy.
Demon Tweeks Motorsport, Wrexham
November 2004 - December 2005

Roles Held - Web Data Compiler, eBay Sales
This was my first web based role. My work at Demon Tweeks was simple. Creation of the data for all of the products in there catalog and ensure everything was up to date and uploading to the website. I also devised a system at Demon Tweeks that helped them to sell off thousands of old stock products and gaining them profit from items your average customer would not know they had. Obviously I had a little help from the worlds largest Auction site. I left Demon Tweeks in December 2007 as I felt I needed a new challenge based on all the new skills that I had gained. This ultimately led me to move away to Manchester.

August 2000 - November 2004
Primary Business - Paper / Tissue Manufacture
Roles Held - Shift Manager, Process Analyst, Junior Programmer
I started here straight from college and was brought in to create a system for monitoring machine downtime. I essentially created a downtime system Object orientated Programming Techniques and Databases to create a piece of software that was run from many sites over the UK. My roles changed on completion of this and pushed me in to an analyst role analysing all the data and presenting to management to help them with their decision making. Towards the end of my time at Georgia Pacific I helped out with Shift Management and Health and Safety on site. The shift work included me working the ever popular night shift. I left Georgia Pacific due to redundancy and the site closing as a whole.
